What does this course want?

• Physiology easily explained, quickly understood, and incorporated into one's own singing processes.
• Technique course with an emphasis on individual work on vocal technique with a view to implementation in literature
• The focus of the work is on basic and/or current individual singing "problems" and on vocal technical solutions for singing interpretation

Repertoire: 

• "Problem" passages from the vocal literature currently being worked on/sung.

This course is intended for:

• Professional singers, advanced voice students and voice teachers.
• max. 8 participants
• BDG members: 12  education points per course

Each participant receives :

• 40 minutes individual coaching with Petra Lang and Adrian Baianu
• 70 minutes master class with Petra Lang
• 70 minutes of individual coaching with Adrian Baianu
• Focus lecture on a course-specific voice physiology topic
• Listening to the entire course at the sessions of Adrian Baianu and Petra Lang
• Free participation in the online lectures "Applied Voice Physiology for Classical Singers, Pianists and Conductors"

Adrian Baianu, Piano,Vocal-Coach

After graduating from high school, studied music in Munich (piano with Gottfried Hefele, Lied with Erik Werba, Helmut Deutsch, Norman Shetler and Siegfried Mauser), musicology, theater studies and Italian philology at the Ludwig Maximilian University and the Mozarteum in Salzburg. 

Adrian Baianu works as a répétiteur and accompanist with Susan Anthony, Wolfgang Brendel, Albert Dohmen, Wolfgang Koch, Petra Lang, Regula Mühlemann, Noemi Nadelmann, Tareq Nazmi, Andreas Schmidt, Petra-Maria Schnitzer, Wolfgang Schwaiger, Wolfgang Schwaninger, Cheryl Studer, Falk Struckmann, Juha Uusitalo, Michael Volle, Okka von der Damerau, Edith Wiens and Elena Zaremba, among others.
